Hi folks,
    the signature for the ObjectAddRequest method, is as follows:-

public ObjectAddRequest(

string bucketName, string key)

The buckname makes sence. But what about the 'key' ? what the hell is that and where is it used?

btw, i'm using the public void LoadStreamWithBytes(byte[]
bytes) method .. and all the examples i've seen, the "key" value is a file name. is this a generic key used for stats or something, but is never used in the upload process at all?

(yes, i've had a look at the ObjectAddRequest, Request and Transfer classes and can't figure this out).

I just downloaded this and haven't worked with it very long (just a few tests using the wrapper methods), but I'm pretty sure the key is the key S3 object key.

See http://docs.amazonwebservices.com/AmazonS3/latest/index.html?UsingKeys.html

The console examples are pretty good at showing how this works.
